Our group lessons are available for all swimmers from 3 years - 16 years. Our bespoke award scheme caters for swimmers of all abilities from the non-swimmer to the more advanced.

With a maximum of 5 swimmers per class along with an additional teaching assistant in our Starfish classes, swimmers are given a greater level of support along with quality feedback to enable them to continually improve and keep them engaged.

Award Scheme
Each stage takes you through levels 1-3 before graduating with a bespoke medal and moving onto the next stage. Swimmers will gradually develop all 4 strokes as well as water safety as they progress.

Starfish - This is our first level where swimmers attend classes without a parent or guardian in the water. Starfish classes work on water confidence, floatation and swimming with aids on front and back. By the end of Starfish classes swimmers will be able to swim 2m unaided on their front.

Sea Turtle - These classes continue to build on flotation skills whilst also learning to swim with less swimming aids and starting to work on breathing techniques. Swimmers will be introduced to swimming on their fronts and backs using their arms and will be able to swim 10m unaided by the end.

Octopus - With swimmers in these classes confident now swimming unaided, the focus will mainly be on Front crawl breathing to the side which will aid swimmers in completing their 25m award.

Shark - Shark swimmers will be refining their technique on the front and back along with working on their breaststroke timing. By the end of this stage swimmers will have basic technique on all 4 strokes and this is the last level before moving to our more advanced groups.

Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum - Our advanced medal programme takes swimmers to the next level in their swimming as they learn to improve their stroke efficiency, speed & endurance and sets them up for a future in fitness or competitive swimming .
